Which sites work?

The browser extension works on YouTube and Netflix. In the app you can also import YouTube links, websites, documents (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, EPUB, text), audio files, images and pasted text.

Why doesn't a video work?

ProLangvo needs subtitles in the language you're learning. Some videos and titles don't have them, and what's available can differ by country. On Netflix, the audio also has to be available in your learning language. Some YouTube videos without subtitles can still be transcribed from their audio; the extension offers this when it's possible.

How do I install the extension?

1. Add it from the Chrome Web Store or from Microsoft Edge Add-ons.
2. Sign in to ProLangvo in the same browser.
3. Open a video on YouTube or Netflix. Subtitles you can click appear over the video.

Which languages can I learn?

The sign-up screen and your settings always show the current list.

Is it free?

Yes. ProLangvo is free during the beta, and basic learning will stay free.

How do I delete my account or get a copy of my data?

Email info@prolangvo.ch from the address on your account. We'll confirm it's you and complete the request within 30 days. The Privacy Policy explains what's deleted.

How do I report a problem?

Email info@prolangvo.ch, and include the video or page if you can. When you're signed in, you can also use the bug report button in the app.
